Ivy combines her degree in Psychology with her passion for financial planning to provide a wealth of services for her clients. Her comprehensive approach to working with clients is what makes her stand out as a  CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. Ivy has Ivy has a breadth of experience from managing a small business, to working for large institutions in brokerage. Her past experiences both positive and more challenging have given her the tools and experiences to understand what her clients really need.

Ivy’s parents divorced after 34 years of marriage. Knowing what her parents went through and what she herself had to cope with as an adult child of divorce made her keenly aware of the consequences of divorce. After her own experience and seeing friends and clients who had very poorly executed financial agreements, Ivy became a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst™.

Ivy works individually with each client helping them set financial goals. She works on a vision for their lives and for their estate so that their families are protected in the future.  She stresses the importance of understanding what you have and what you spend, and is diligent about budgeting with all her clients. She uses a holistic approach when working with her clients and always starts with a plan to get through and beyond retirement. Always aligned with her client’s goals, Ivy wants them to have financial independence.

“I love helping people and especially the fact that I really make a difference in people’s lives. I want my clients to know they’re going to be okay financially and if they’re not, we’re going to come up with strategies to get and keep them on track now and in the future.”

Outside of her planning practice, Ivy puts her passion for bike riding to good use riding to raise money for cancer related causes. She has also represented 9/11 widows of fire fighters in the past.
